Transcript Page - User Guide
1. Overview
This page provides access to your official academic transcript information. You can view key details about your academic record and generate a downloadable PDF copy of your full transcript.
2. Page Layout
When you navigate to the Transcript page, you will see the following sections:
- Title: The page is titled "Transcript".
- Student Information Section:
- A prominent heading "Student Information".
- A visually organized section displaying key details about you, including:
- Name: Your full name.
- Roll No: Your unique student identification number.
- Programme: The academic program you are enrolled in (e.g., BTech).
- Department: Your academic department (e.g., Computer Science and Engineering).
- Current Semester: The semester you are currently in.
- CGPA: Your current Cumulative Grade Point Average.
- Each piece of information is accompanied by a relevant icon for quick identification.
- PDF Preview Area:
- Initially, this area might be empty or indicate that no transcript has been generated yet.
- After you generate the transcript, a preview of the PDF document will appear here, allowing you to see its contents before downloading.
- Action Buttons:
- Buttons located below the preview area allow you to interact with the transcript functionality.
3. Features and How to Use Them
3.1 Viewing Your Information
- Upon loading the page, your basic student information (Name, Roll No, Programme, etc.) is automatically displayed in the "Student Information" section.
- Action: Review this information carefully to ensure it is correct.
3.2 Generating Your Transcript PDF
- Purpose: To create an up-to-date PDF version of your full academic transcript, including course details, grades, and SPI/CPI information.
- Steps:
- Locate the button labelled "Generate Transcript" below the PDF preview area.
- Click this button.
- The button text may change to "Generating..." and become temporarily inactive while the system processes your request. Please wait patiently.
- Once processing is complete, a preview of your transcript will appear in the PDF Preview area.
- A "Download PDF" button will also appear next to the "Generate Transcript" button.

3.3 Previewing Your Transcript
- Purpose: To review the contents of the generated transcript before downloading.
- Action: After successfully generating the transcript (Step 3.2), use the scrollbars or controls within the PDF Preview area to navigate through the pages of your transcript document. Verify the course details, grades, and other information.
3.4 Downloading Your Transcript PDF
- Purpose: To save a copy of the generated transcript PDF to your device.
- Prerequisite: You must first generate the transcript successfully (Step 3.2). The "Download PDF" button will only be visible and active after generation.
- Steps:
- Locate the button labelled "Download PDF".
- Click this button.
- Your browser will initiate the download process. The file will typically be saved to your default Downloads folder and named something like
Student_Transcript.pdf.
4. Important Notes
- Data Accuracy: The information displayed and included in the generated PDF is based on the official records available in the system. If you find any discrepancies, please contact the relevant administrative office (e.g., Academic Section, Registrar's Office).
- Generation Time: Generating the PDF may take a few moments, depending on system load and the size of your transcript.
- Pop-up Blockers: If the download doesn't start after clicking the "Download PDF" button, ensure that your browser's pop-up blocker is not preventing the download. You may need to allow downloads from this website.
